Dr. David Jeremiah Issues Statement on the Passing of Dr. James Dobson

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Few organizations have impacted the faith and family culture of America as much as Dr. James Dobson's Focus on the Family. A long-time friend, James dedicated his life to campaigning for biblical values and the centrality of family in our lives.

I met James in the mid-seventies while pastoring at Blackhawk Baptist Church in Indiana, and he was the kind of friend that even if we had not seen each other in a while, we could pick up right where we left off. He was a friend, husband, father, psychologist, author, broadcaster, and cultural advisor to multiple Presidents. His life was spent in service to others, always working to make the world a better place.
